This Is What Happens When You Make Life A Rush

"No matter how you hurry, you will notice at the end of the day that you traveled at the speed of time." ~Robert Brault.

Every day, you find people hurrying back and
forth the road of life. Some to catch a bus, some to the office, some to meet someone, some to pick up something, etc. Cars driving so fast all wanting to go catch up with the necessity of the day. Everyone always seems to be hurrying to somewhere or to some place. But why all the hurry?

The need to hurry about everything in life has done no good to the life of anyone but creating a generation of people who are very impatient. I read the story of a man who beat up his wife simply because she took too long to get the food to the table for him to eat.

These days people do not even have enough patience to wait their turn on a queue. Everyone is always in a hurry. Statistics shows that the major reason for the numerous road accident is because of reckless driving resulting from impatience. Impatience comes from always wanting to be in a hurry at all times.

There is every need not to be always in a hurry in life. Conditioning yourself to always think that if have to be in a hurry just because you may never meet up with time is not a good idea. Taking your time to do things get more done not just well but also in a way where people don’t get hurt.
Here are some of the reason why you should never believe you should always be in a hurry in life.

1.      YOU ARE BOUND TO MISS MANY OPPORTUNITIES:
Whenever we decide in life, there is a tendency for us to by-pass opportunities in life. One of the reasons people never succeed in life is because they miss opportunities almost every day in their life. They miss what is right for them because they are in a hurry. People get into the wrong marriage and relationship with the wrong people because the hurried and simply missed who was right for them. If you want to be more alert, slow down because opportunities seldom knock twice.

2.      YOU MAKE WRONG DECISIONS:
Did you know that most hasty decision taken in life are never always the right decisions? When you decide to hurry about everything in life, wrong decision are most of what you make of your life. I have been a victim of these mistakes severally. Because I worked with the network every day, using smart phones and fast everything in life, I unconsciously began seeing that people became just as fast and effective as the fast food, fast cars, fast internet I was using every day. This always pushed people too far, and it made every decision I made wrong.

3.      YOU OFFEND PEOPLE:
the fights we see   break out in the queue or when we hear people cursing or blaring low horns is always because these people are always in a hurry. The do not have the time to wait, so everyone one the meet must meet up to their standard of being in a hurry to meet up with time. When we are in a hurry all caution and consideration towards people flows out the window. We step on peoples toes without caring just how it matter so long as we get what we want. Being in a hurry gets people hurt, therefore it is not the best.

4.      YOU WILL END UP DOING THE WRONG THINGS:
Most wrong decisions people are regretting today they made them in the heat of rush hour. They said things they were not supposed to be say just because they were in a hurry. We do things wrong whenever we hurry about them. A person who never times his/her time about anything and tends to believe in being in a hurry does things wrong. I see people on the street that put on their shirt or jacket inside out. Everyone is looking at them, but they themselves are not seeing it. I smile, and remind myself, “You should never be in a hurry.”

As it is always said, “sometimes you just need to stop and smell the roses.” There is nothing to hurry about in life, relax and do it right.
